About the Role

Are you a college student looking for a rewarding internship opportunity to enhance your educational experience and help you prepare for your future career?  If so, Utz Quality Foods is currently seeking a Merchandising Intern in Chicago, IL or Hanover, PA! We are targeting students that are majoring in Marketing or Business Administration.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of how to enhance the efficiency and overall effectiveness of merchandising execution. 
  • Gain experience maintaining accurate inventory records and monitoring asset conditions. 
  • Build the ability to identify gaps and opportunities to streamline merchandising execution. 
  • Learn foundational process improvement principles by supporting the creation of simpler, more efficient workflows. 
  • Learn to apply shopper insights, competitive reviews, and in store observations to inform merchandising enhancements. 
  • Understand the full merchandising lifecycle, including development, activation, and deployment. 
  • Gain exposure to cross-functional collaboration with Fulfillment, Procurement, Finance, Shopper Marketing, and Sales.
  • Synthesize findings and deliver a comprehensive recommendation for internal stakeholders
