Job Summary

As a Data & Business Intelligence Intern at Impiricus, you will support the development of data-driven solutions that empower internal teams to make informed, strategic decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to build dashboards, analyze datasets, and contribute to scalable data infrastructure. This role offers hands-on experience in transforming raw data into actionable insights through modern business intelligence tools and practices.


Responsibilities

  • Support internal analytics initiatives by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data across teams
  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports using BI and data visualization tools
  • Assist in managing and organizing data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and accessibility
  • Identify and integrate new data sources to enhance reporting and analytical capabilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data solutions
  • Help optimize existing data pipelines and reporting workflows
  • Contribute to documentation and best practices for data governance and reporting

Experience

  • Currently a senior undergraduate, recent graduate, or enrolled in a graduate program in an analytics-focused discipline or closely related field (statistics, data science, etc.)
  • Experience with at least one data visualization tool such as Sigma (preferred), Power BI, Tableau, or similar
  • Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases, including the ability to write queries to extract and manipulate data
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets
  • Experience training or working with AI/ML models is a plus
