SUMMARY – Intern

KEY ACTIVITIES

During the Internship, you will:

  • Complete a project to develop an onboarding program for either corporate employees or drivers
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to identify onboarding that are consistent for all employees, and those that are role/department specific
  • Research best practices in onboarding to ensure employee engagement from day 1
  • Ensure our DE&I principles are represented at every stage of onboarding
  • Identify creative ways to leverage technology to ensure a consistent onboarding experience across all of our locations

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Knowledge of DE&I principles, federal labour laws and human rights legislation
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Exceptional MS Excel skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with HR software and systems.
  • Basic understanding of employment laws and regulations.

Conditions of Employment

  • A background check, satisfactory to TransX, will be required prior to commencing employment at no expense to the intern.
