Enterprise Technology develops enterprise data & analytics solutions used by business teams across the company. In this internship, you will work in a collaborative environment on an engineering team to help develop and enhance data products that make critical data sets easier to discover, access, and use securely across the enterprise.

This role will contribute to initiatives such as data integration, data modeling, data cataloging, and building self-service experiences for data consumers. If selected for this internship, you will report directly to an engineering leader supporting the program.

The dates of this internship are May/June 2026 through August/September 2026.

What You Will Do

The Software Engineering Intern will work in an agile environment with architects and software engineers to build and improve data product capabilities.

Work may include:

  • Integrating data from source systems into a cloud data platform (e.g., Snowflake)

  • Performing data modeling and developing SQL queries to create data views and reusable data products

  • Supporting development of a data catalog and improving metadata to enable data discovery and governance-aligned sharing

  • Developing software and/or user interfaces that provide end users with self-service tools for accessing data

  • Supporting integration patterns that allow data products to be consumed by downstream analytics and (where applicable) AI use cases

  • Writing documentation and sharing learnings to help teams maintain and extend the solution

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience with software development using Java and/or Python

  • Experience working with data and developing database queries using SQL

  • Experience working on collaborative teams in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous experience with Snowflake or other cloud-based data platforms

  • Some experience with AI applications and frameworks

    Education

    Currently enrolled as a junior or senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other STEM related field at an accredited college or university.

    Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

    Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all the below requirements:

    • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship

    • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.

    • Be at least 18 years of age

    • Possess unrestricted work authorization

    Additional Information

    • The approximate dates of this internship are May/June 2026 through August/September 2026

    • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work

    • Fully available from Monday-Friday for the duration of the internship, 40 hours per week
