Job Description

Are you interested in a co-op opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) or graduate (MS) degree to participate in 6 month co-op opportunities at our site in Murrysville, PA. Through this role you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience working for a HealthTech company. You will be supporting business functions (departments) to identify and introduce AI into their key work Processes to reduce time and improve accuracy.

There are 2 dimensions to this role:

1. Adoption of AI into the daily activities in different functional areas within our Business

2. Support organizing the Business Architecture and Process Flow artifacts for our Business

Your role:

  • Support coordination and management of AI initiatives by handling request intake from multiple business functions. You will maintain visibility into all requests, track progress, and ensure clear communication across stakeholders.

  • Collaborate closely with the Technology Partner to share incoming AI requests and translate business problems into technical terms. You will also assist requesters with initial solution testing to verify quality, alignment, and readiness for adoption.

  • Develop adoption indicators to measure usage of delivered AI tools and solutions. Additionally, you will help set up and run the management model that reviews initiative status, adoption, and costs for consistent oversight.

  • Organize and maintain MIRO-based business architecture materials, including strategy views and high‑level process models, to ensure intuitive access for transformation projects. You will identify white space opportunities and link them to transformation programs planned for 2026 and 2027.

  • Source, consolidate, and document the technical architecture supporting S&RC business processes, ensuring completeness and clarity. You will also assist with day‑to‑day departmental activities such as research, data analysis, report development, cross‑functional collaboration, and maintaining documentation to drive operational efficiency.

You're the right fit if:

  • You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in a technical field.

  • You have an understanding of AI concepts and capabilities, with the ability to evaluate and translate business needs.

  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills and can collaborate across teams in a dynamic environment.

  • You have some prior intern or co-op experience (preferred).

  • You bring a continuous‑improvement mindset and eagerness to learn industry‑specific tools, technologies, and best practices.

  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.  

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person 5 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details

The hourly pay range for this position is Bachelor Level: $24-36 an hour: Masters Level $33-$46 an hour plus overtime eligible. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.

Additional Information

US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa, now or in the future.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position.  For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Murrysville, PA.
