PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Talent & Culture Intern will provide administrative and operational support to the Talent & Culture team. This role assists with recruiting coordination, onboarding, HR data management, and employee engagement initiatives while gaining exposure to a strategic HR function within a professional services firm.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Talent Acquisition Support:
- Post positions to ADP and external job boards.
- Maintain applicant tracking system accuracy.
- Screen resumes for minimum qualifications and coordinate interviews.
- Distribute and organize resource guides, interview templates & competency profiles for candidates and new hires
- Manage candidate communications and scheduling.
- Assist with summer internship program logistics.
- Track recruitment metrics and maintain hiring reports.
HR Operations & Onboarding Support:
- Prepare and track new hire documentation and onboarding tasks.
- Maintain digital personnel files and HR trackers.
- Support benefits enrollment tracking and payroll reporting preparation.
- Assist with audit preparation and file reviews.
- Update onboarding and offboarding checklists.
- Facilitate background checks and reference calls
Employee Engagement & Administrative Support:
- Assist with engagement initiatives and internal HR communications.
- Compile survey results and basic HR reports.
- Support coordination of learning and development activities.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Current undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Prior administrative or internship experience preferred.
