About the Role

The POS Department Summer Internship Programme provides undergraduate students with hands-on exposure to policy administration and operational support functions within an insurance environment. The internship emphasizes operational accuracy, governance, and regulatory awareness in accordance with insurance regulatory and internal control requirements.

Internship Period: 15 June 2026 – 31 August 2026

The purpose of our internship is to provide students, who are passionate in Insurance industry, the opportunity to understand our business through hands-on work experience, projects and programme activities.

What you will learn and contribute:

Depending on the suitable development opportunities in Policy Administration and Process Management Department, you may be involved in

  • Assist in daily POS operations, including policy administration and maintenance activities

  • Support data preparation, validation, and basic analysis for operational and management reporting

  • Assist in maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements

  • Prepare and update process documentation, operational guidelines, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

  • Participate in process reviews to enhance operational efficiency, risk control, and compliance effectiveness

  • Support tasks related to regulatory compliance, such as data checking, record keeping, and control evidence preparation

  • Perform ad-hoc tasks and projects assigned by supervisors

What you will need:

  • University student (or above) major in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, Insurance, Accounting, or related disciplines

  • Strong attention to detail with a structured and responsible working approach

  • Good analytical, organizational, and documentation skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Good command of written and spoken English; Cantonese and/or Mandarin is an advantage

  • Proactive, eager to learn, and able to handle confidential information responsibly

  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team

  • Strong sense of accountability and compliance awareness
