THE ROLE

The Yankee Stadium Internship Program provides students and early-career professionals with hands-on experience in a fast-paced, high-profile sports and entertainment environment. Interns will gain exposure to daily stadium operations, support departmental initiatives and contribute to delivering an exceptional fan experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assist with day-to-day operations within assigned department
  • Support game day and event operations, including setup, execution, and breakdown
  • Provide administrative support such as data entry, reporting, and scheduling
  • Collaborate with team members on special projects and initiatives
  • Deliver excellent customer service to guests, vendors, and staff
  • Maintain a professional and positive presence in a dynamic environment
  • Participate in meetings, trainings, and team briefings

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • All applicants must be at least 18 years of age
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited college/university
  • Interest in sports, hospitality, business, human resources, or related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays (game days/events)
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred

COMPENSATION

Hourly Rate of $22.00

WORKING CONDITIONS

Location: On Site – Yankee Stadium Bronx, NY
