The Role: Project Management  

Mission (About the Role)  

You'll play a crucial role in addressing post-sales quality complaints and issues, ensuring our customers receive the best possible experience. This position offers a unique opportunity to learn, grow, and make a significant impact on our quality processes and customer relationships. What will you do?  

  

Project Coordination & Administrative Support 

  • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and tracking deliverables. 
  • Attend project meetings and prepare minutes, action items, and follow-up logs. 
  • Maintain project trackers, schedules, and daily progress updates. 
  • Support procurement coordination by updating delivery status and recording material movements.

Technical & Engineering Support (Under Supervision) 

  • Assist in reviewing engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical specifications. 
  • Support the implementation of power systems and mechanical solutions. 
  • Help in arrangement of testing schedule and co-ordination with site stakeholders to conduct testing and commissioning. 
  • Work with field service engineers on basic quality checks, measurements, and data collection. 

Site Support & Commissioning Assistance 

  • Support daily site coordination and ensure tools, materials, and documentation are prepared. 
  • Participate in testing and commissioning activities as an assistant/observer. 
  • Help prepare and upload commissioning reports. 
  • Assist in documenting customer-raised defects, updating defect lists, and following up with contractors. 
  • Support site inspections, checklists, and verification tasks based on engineering guidance. 

Documentation & Reporting 

  • Prepare project documentation, meeting minutes, weekly reports, and customer-facing materials. 
  • Maintain organized project files following Schneider Electric quality and compliance standards. 
  • Assist in preparing handover materials such as O&M documents, training packs, and manuals. 
  • Update shared folders, project trackers, and internal systems with accurate data. 

Stakeholder Coordination 

  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams for information requests and updates. 
  • Assist in responding to customer queries under direct supervision. 
  • Support cross-functional communication between engineering, logistics, and site teams. 

Safety & Compliance 

  • Follow Schneider Electric’s safety protocols and site rules at all times. 
  • Participate in toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and risk assessments. 
  • Assist in verifying that site work complies with quality, safety, and installation procedures. 

Learning & Development (Internship Focus) 

  • Learn project execution workflows, engineering processes, and Data Centre infrastructure set up. 
  • Gain exposure to data centre power and cooling technologies and commissioning practices. 
  • Participate in job shadowing with project engineers and field service engineers. 
  • Demonstrate a proactive attitude toward learning and improving technical skills.

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering will set you up for success, providing a solid foundation in technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
