You will join the Method Engineering Team, where you will pro-actively solve problems and champion continuous improvement!

 

Location: Tuas, Singapore

 

About the role

 

You'll play an important role in improving manufacturing quality, efficiency and capacity to fulfill customer demand on time. This position offers a unique opportunity to learn, grow, and make a significant impact on our manufacturing processes and new product introduction. By contributing to Schneider Electric's commitment to excellence, you'll gain invaluable skills and experience that will benefit your professional development.

 

What will you do?

  • Manufacturing process time study

    • Assist in process time data collection and analysis

    • Assist in production station improvement opportunities proposal

    • Update standard time in manufacturing systems

    • Analyze production daily record and data in system to calibrate key performance indicators, e.g. efficiency and capacity, and to monitor the compliance of standard time

  •  

    Documentation

    • Assist in Work Instruction update

    • Assist in drawing of production layout whenever changes are required to maintain the latest version, using AutoCAD app

  • Continuous improvement assistance
    • Follow up daily issue ticket closure
    • Assist in continuous improvement projects
    • Assist to follow up action closure including vendor connection

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

  • Educational Background: A Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering will help your success.

  • Customer Focus: A customer-oriented mindset is key. If you enjoy helping others and finding solutions that make a difference, you'll thrive in this role.

  • Skill Set: Good MS office skill, especially skill of Excel app, will help a lot in your daily efficiency.

  • Knowledge Advantage: While not mandatory, knowledge on automation will give you a broader idea of solution.
