Core Responsibilities
The HR intern will support HR Business Partners and Specialists with administrative tasks, analysis, and core HR processes, while also acting as a first point of contact for employee queries across the Netherlands regions. Responsibilities include contributing to various HR projects such as engagement, compensation, benefits, payroll, and leaves management, with a possibility to assist with new employee onboarding.

As part of North Europe HR team, the HR intern will get the opportunity to work across HR projects and processes related to the employees. The position is based in our Stryker European Office in Amsterdam supporting both the Netherlands & Belgium sites with over 700 employees and some projects supporting our Nordics employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting HR Business Partners and HR Specialists with administrative duties, analysis and HR processes

  • Liaising with and assisting employees/ managers regarding core HR processes across our Netherlands regions

  • Supporting with employee queries and/or being first point of contact for employees for various topics

  • Contributing to HR projects such as engagement, compensation and benefits, payroll and leaves management

  • Possibility to support the on-boarding of new employees

Your Profile

  • Proven ability to drive execution while always meeting deadlines

  • Must be outcome driven and taking responsibility/accountability for tasks

  • Ability to produce quality work while, prioritizing multiple simultaneous deliverables and working in a fast-paced, demanding environment

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong interpersonal skills along with presentation, written and verbal communication skills are necessary

Requirements

  • You are enrolled at a European university in a bachelor's degree, or master’s degree program, for the duration of the Internship.

  • Preferable field of studies: Human Resources, Psychology, Business, General Management, Communication, or relevant field.

  • Good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken (Dutch or French is a bonus).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • NOTE: EU working rights are required
