This Opportunity

Best suited for candidates in their penultimate year of study.

Our finance team at Wood Mackenzie covers a wide range of different finance functions covering financial planning and analysis, commercial finance, financial reporting and audit, treasury, taxation, accounts receivable and payable, and payroll.  The team contains over 70 finance professionals worldwide who cover all these finance functions within each of the countries our companies operate within. 

In this role, you'll develop a deeper understanding of how the finance function contributes to a world-class energy and consulting organisation.

You'll get to:

  • Assist in preparation of financial reports
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Work on accounts payable and receivable tracking
  • Help in data entry, reconciliation, and maintaining financial records
  • Analyze financial data and identify trends or variances
  • Assist in audit preparation and documentation
  • Prepare MIS reports and dashboards
  • Support ad-hoc finance projects and process improvements

Requirements

Studying towards a Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification with a numerical, finance and/or economics focus
