Summer Internship – Accounting, Finance, or Management Information Systems (MIS)
Location: Irving, TX (On-Site; Hybrid Eligible)
Duration: 10–12 weeks | Summer 2026

About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented student to join our team for a hands‑on summer internship. This role offers exposure to real‑world business operations and the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects that support our financial, operational, and technology-driven initiatives. The ideal candidate is curious, proactive, and eager to learn in a collaborative environment.
What You’ll Do
Depending on your major and interests, your experience may include:
Accounting & Finance Focus
- Assist with monthly financial close activities, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Support budgeting and forecasting efforts through data collection and modeling.
- Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership review.
- Help evaluate financial controls and participate in process‑improvement initiatives.
- Conduct research on industry benchmarks, cost drivers, or internal performance metrics.
MIS / Data / Systems Focus
- Support system enhancements, data integrity reviews, and reporting improvements.
- Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), documentation, and workflow updates.
- Analyze datasets to identify trends, inconsistencies, or improvement opportunities.
- Build or optimize dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
- Participate in cross‑functional meetings on technology or process-transformation initiatives.

Qualifications
Required
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, MIS, Business Analytics, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic formulas)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team environment
Preferred
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday)
- Familiarity with financial statements or data visualization concepts
- Attention to detail and strong desire to learn
