About the Role

Passero Associates’ Rochester, NY Office has an exciting paid Structural Engineering Co-op/Intern opportunity to work on a diverse range of structural engineering projects. This position offers tremendous potential for gaining professional experience in a great working environment and the opportunity to apply the latest technology to help our clients solve their most challenging problems. Typical projects involve structural design and analysis on a diverse range of structural projects including commercial, municipal, institutional and multi-family residential. 

Salary Range:$18.00 To $20.00 Hourly

Responsibilities:

  • Production of structural construction drawings, specifications and reports using CAD/BIM technology
  • Construction administration support including project site visits and shop drawings reviews
  • Maintains high standards of professional and ethical conduct

Qualifications/ Experience:

  • Pursuing BS degree in Civil Engineering / Structural emphasis preferred 
  • Available summer 2026 with potential to continue for Fall Semester (September - December 2026), with possible PT schedule thereafter.
  • Working knowledge of Revit preferred 
  • Prior structural and/or civil engineering co-op/intern experience, a plus 
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook 
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Valid driver’s license; personal vehicle
