Program Summary:
Lennar’s FP&A Internship Program is a 10-week paid internship beginning in June, designed to give participants hands-on exposure to corporate financial planning and analysis in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Interns will apply classroom concepts to real-world financial challenges, support critical
business decisions, and develop essential analytical, communication, and professional skills.
FP&A Interns work closely with experienced finance leaders and business partners, contributing to forecasting, reporting, and financial modeling eQorts that support enterprise-wide decision making. The program includes onboarding, hands-on training, exposure to Lennar’s operations (including a visit to a
Lennar Community), and team-based learning opportunities. High-performing interns may be considered for future opportunities, including Lennar’s Corporate Rotational Program.

 

Responsibilities:
• Support the FP&A team in financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting activities
• Assist in preparing management presentations and executive-level financial summaries
• Compile, analyze, and interpret financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Support variance analysis between actual results, forecasts, and budgets
• Help maintain and enhance financial models and planning tools
• Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business drivers and financial impacts
• Assist with process improvement initiatives to streamline financial reporting and planning
activities
• Respond to ad hoc financial analysis requests in a timely and professional manner
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal financial policies and procedures
• Support data validation and reconciliation efforts to ensure high-quality financial outputs

 

Requirements:
• Current Junior or Senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college or university (graduating within 2 years preferred)
• Major in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field (preferred)
• Strong interest in financial planning, analysis, and corporate finance
• Ability to compile, analyze, and synthesize data into clear insights
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (required); familiarity with financial systems is a plus
• Authorized to work in the United States without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future (Lennar does not sponsor employment visas for this position)
