We are recruiting for a co-op student to work in our Group Benefits Underwriting  department based in the Mississauga office stating in May 2026.

The duties include assisting underwriters with reviewing applications for insurance and related underwriting tasks. They will also be responsible for handling certain administrative duties, including the auditing of files, following up with our brokers and assisting with other related projects as they arise. The candidate will gain knowledge of the insurance industry as well as the steps involved in identifying and analyzing risk exposures through the underwriting process.

The successful candidate will be client-focused, a self-starter, have excellent communication and computer skills and possess a high attention to detail.  This position is considered well suited to students in the Commerce program. Education or experience in insurance, accounting or business will be considered an asset, as will bilingual capabilities.
