About the Role

Kish Bank is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Credit Analyst Intern to join our Credit Administration team in Reedsville, PA. This in-office internship provides hands-on experience supporting sound lending decisions through financial analysis, documentation review, and commercial portfolio monitoring activities.

What You’ll Do

Support Credit Analysis:
Assist with gathering borrower financial information and performing preliminary financial statement analysis under the guidance of experienced credit professionals.

Portfolio Monitoring:
Help support monitoring of commercial lending relationships by assisting with credit memorandums and documentation reviews.

Research & Risk Awareness:
Conduct industry and borrower research to help assess credit risk and strengthen understanding of lending practices.

Documentation Review:
Assist with reviewing loan files for completeness and organization.

Reporting:
Support preparation of clear and well-structured credit analyses and internal reports.

Collaboration:
Work with lenders, analysts, and Credit Administration team members to support timely and accurate credit decisions.

Professional Development:
Participate in training opportunities designed to build knowledge of commercial lending, financial analysis, and community banking operations.

Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Interest in financial analysis and commercial lending
  • Strong reading, writing, grammar, and math skills
  • Clear and professional communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to conduct reliable online research and summarize findings effectively

Physical Requirements

This is primarily an office-based, sedentary role requiring routine standing, walking, reaching, and occasional lifting of 10–20 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job duties.
