Position Summary

We’re looking for an energetic, curious, and detail‑driven intern to join our Custom Engineering Team! As a Custom Engineering Intern, you’ll get hands‑on experience updating BOMs, working in PDM, and bringing SolidWorks models to life. You’ll dive into real projects and see firsthand how we design and engineer one‑of‑a‑kind custom playground products used in communities across the country. If you’re eager to learn, grow, and make an impact, this is the place to do it.

This internship is located in Delano, MN and will require on-site participation 5 days a week.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with engineering projects as assigned, with oversight from experienced engineers. 
  • Support updates to Product Data Management (PDM) data cards.
  • Support the update of Bills of Materials (BOM).
  • Assist with revision updates, basic model updates and color classification updates.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Experience in Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems preferred
  • Experience in SolidWorks is required.
  • Experience in 3D modeling or CAD software is preferred.

The target hourly range is $19.00 - $21.00, depending upon qualifications and experience. The posted pay range reflects the expected compensation for a fully qualified candidate. Starting pay may be above or below this range based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and training needs.

In addition to hourly pay, the compensation package also includes eligibility for profit-sharing and monthly bonus opportunity. Additionally, for eligible full-time employees, we offer a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits; paid time off and paid holidays; 401(k) retirement plan and employee stock ownership plan.
