About the Role

Description

RETTEW seeks a motivated and creative Marketing & Communication Intern to support our team during Summer 2026. This role offers hands-on experience across a wide range of marketing, communications, and business development activities within a B2B/professional services environment.


The intern will contribute to real projects that support brand visibility, client engagement, and internal communications, gaining exposure to both strategic and day-to-day marketing operations.

Work Environment


Worplace Designation: HybridLocation: Lancaster, PA

Schedule: Tuesday through Thursday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (24 hours per week)

Duration: Summer 2026 (Approx. May through August)

RETTEW’s ASPIRE Internship Program is designed to give students meaningful, hands-on experience that supports both professional growth and career exploration. Interns participate in real project work, mentorship opportunities, and professional development activities that help build confidence and practical skills.


Position Summary / What You’ll Do


As a Marketing & Communications Intern, you will support a wide range of marketing and communications activities that help promote RETTEW’s services, strengthen our brand, and support business development efforts. This role provides exposure to both strategic marketing initiatives and day-to-day operations in a professional services environment, while giving you the opportunity to build real-world marketing experience and portfolio-ready content.


Responsibilities / Day-to-Day 


Marketing & Business Development Support

  • Assist in developing project profiles and case studies, including content research, drafting, and final production
  • Support e-newsletter development, including content creation, editing, and layout coordination
  • Contribute to website updates, including SEO support, analytics tracking, and competitive research
  • Help coordinate and manage professional photography for marketing use
  • Support thought leadership initiatives, including conducting interviews and drafting articles
  • Create basic graphics and visual aids for proposals and presentations
  • Conduct market and client research to support business development efforts

Communications Support

  • Draft and schedule content for social media platforms; assist with campaign brainstorming
  • Develop content for the website newsroom
  • Support internal communications, including newsletters and employee engagement initiatives
  • Conduct interviews and draft employee and project-related stories

Administrative & Content Management Support

  • Assist with maintaining and organizing digital assets in OpenAsset (e.g., tagging, auditing, and cleanup)
  • Help build and organize a content library for future AI-driven proposal tools
  • Update and standardize employee bios and resumes, ensuring consistency in tone and messaging; identify gaps or outdated materials and recommend updates

Qualifications

Required

  • Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field
  • Strong writing, editing, and research skills
  • Interest in digital marketing, content creation, and branding
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and basic marketing principles
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Preferred

  • Experience with design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)
  • Familiarity with website platforms, SEO concepts, or analytics tools
  • Interest in AI tools for content development
