About the Role

Position Summary

Guggenheim Investments is seeking a motivated individual for a 10-week internship within the Client Services organization, which includes Client Service Support, Client Reporting, Private Fund Transactions, and Client Invoicing. You'll gain hands-on experience supporting clients while working on projects that improve team efficiency and client experience. Central to this role are exceptional written and verbal communication skills, listening skills, and a strong attention to detail.

Throughout the internship, you'll collaborate with colleagues across portfolio management, legal, compliance, and operations—building a cross-functional understanding of how a $359+ billion global asset manager serves its clients.

The position is located in the New York office.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

Client Support

  • Assist with account onboarding activities, including documentation and coordination
  • Organize meeting notes and track follow-up action items

Process Improvement & Special Projects

  • Review and streamline existing templates (onboarding packets, reports, client communications)
  • Identify manual workflows and propose or implement automation solutions
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects based on team priorities

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate program with at least two years completed
  • Interest in learning about institutional investment management client services
  • Prior internship(s) in the finance industry a plus

Preferred Qualifications

  • Organization and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Aptitude for problem solving
