About the Role

We're seeking a motivated Brand Strategy Summer Intern to join our dynamic team in Boston for an 11-week internship. This role offers hands-on exposure to brand management, reputation analysis, talent marketing strategy and sponsorship strategy.

 

What You’ll Do

 

  • Conduct competitive deep dive analyses with strengths, risks and opportunity summaries
  • Assist with analysis and reporting
  • Help build key messaging to expand audience profiles as a robust toolkit
  • Support the creation of broad active vs. passive job seeker personas or function-specific personas
  • Contribute to measurement dashboard development
  • Assist with planning and logistics for events and activations tied to the sponsorship
  • Attend weekly 30-minute team meetings
  • Support program ad development based on volume needs
  • Conduct social content reviews to build brand management skills
  • Support brand management requests leadership skills.
  • You have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Qualifications

What You’ve Got

 

  • You are able to commit to a full-time internship over the course of 11 weeks.
  • You have 0-2 years of professional experience.
  • You must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future. We will not sponsor employment visas. Candidates who will require future sponsorship, including candidates on CPT/OPT/STEM OPT who will require future sponsorship, are not eligible to apply.
  • You are an undergraduate working towards a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Analytics, Business Administration, or equivalent major with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
  • You demonstrate interest in brand strategy, marketing, and consumer insights
  • You have strong analytical and research skills.
  • You are proactive, detail-oriented, collaborative, and possess a positive mindset.
  • You can manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
