Job Purpose

Develops channel or shopper merchandising and promotion strategies. Analyses promotional effectiveness. Responsible for the development of merchandising and space plans and category analysis.  Job Family Group - Marketing: Markets the organisation’s products. Designs, develops and implements communication programs to advertise the organisation’s products using media (TV, radio, print, direct mail, the Internet), events, and sales promotions. Develops and evaluates pricing strategies and structures.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Support

  • Coordinate requests from sales function on all TM-related channel support required and flow through channel executions with TM Executive.
  • Timely quotation and purchase order raising.
  • Assist TM Executive on compliance to business processes (e.g product barcode, pricing structure, promotions, RI forms with approval from QA, RA, Supply Chain).
  • Master Calendar update.
  • Raise relevant requisition requests for channel listings and GWPs.

Campaign Support

  • Assist TM Executive on POSM development and ensure timely submission for channel cycle executions.
  • Update of Master MAHS and MAHP listings after relevant permits from authority is received (in line with current process aligned with regulatory oversight)
  • Channel special campaign support to Trade Marketing function.
  • Assist on campaign KVs with Brand Team to create in-channel displays.
  • Assist on GWPs purchase coordination.

Channel Champion Management

  • To take on a subset of channels and drive all trade marketing related executions independently.
  • Assist Haleon Rewards initiatives to drive full year recruitment figures for a robust CRM future together trade executives
  • Site support of atrium events planning and executions.
  • Drive competitive intelligence gathering for relevant categories.

Data Analytics

  • Competitive pricing monthly data capture and insights sharing to channels
  • Promotion analysis for key channels to provide insights on selected channel promotion effectiveness (Descriptive analysis)
  • Channels scan update to provide sensing of long-term trending
