You will join the Group Finance department. Within this Department, you will be part of the Actuarial Reserving team which is responsible for technical reserve calculation of major life and non-life reinsurance risks from AXA Group entities. The team mission is to anticipate and cover future claims arising from reinsurance treaties underwritten by AXA SA.

Technical reserves must be estimated as accurately as possible based on information on claims, and in particular their development between various phases: occurrence, declaration, payments, and closure.

About the Actuarial Reserving Team: the Team is composed of 6 actuaries of Institut des Actuaires with 2 to 10 years of experience and of different cultures.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Apply and improve your knowledge of statistics, modelling, data analysis, reinsurance and reserving
• Implement new models and tools to enable AXA SA Technical provisions to be properly modelled and monitored
• Exchange with other teams in Group Finance to understand their needs with respect to technical cashflows projections
• Improve accuracy of technical cashflows forecast to contribute to a more efficient financial steering

YOUR PROFILE

  You are a student in applied mathematics/actuarial science, currently performing a master’s degree in applied mathematics in an actuarial or engineering school or university

• You have some experience in programming (R, python, VBA…) and in Excel
• You enjoy teamwork, sharing knowledge and information
• You are keen to innovate and bring initiatives on new subjects
• You are fluent in French and in English
