About The Position

The Human Resources Intern (Learning & Development) will work in our Denver office under the supervision of the Sr. Learning and Development Manager, with additional exposure to the broader HR team. This role provides hands-on experience supporting learning and development initiatives while gaining a comprehensive understanding of Human Resources functions.

In addition to a primary focus on Learning & Development, the intern will collaborate with team members across HR, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, and HR operations. This role offers a well-rounded opportunity to understand how HR programs support employee experience and organizational success while contributing to meaningful projects and initiatives.

  • Support the coordination and development of learning and development programs that enhance employee growth and engagement.
  • Assist with creating and organizing training materials, resources, and content for various learning initiatives.
  • Help coordinate training sessions, workshops, and professional development programs, including scheduling and logistics.
  • Maintain and update learning systems, records, and participation tracking.
  • Support evaluation efforts by helping track training effectiveness and gathering feedback.
  • Collaborate with team members across Human Resources, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, and HR operations.
  • Assist with HR programs and initiatives that support employee experience and organizational success.
  • Contribute to special projects and other assignments to gain a well-rounded understanding of Human Resources functions.


About You

  • Strong interest in Learning & Development and/or a desire to pursue a career in Human Resources.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality work.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with learning systems or HR tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong initiative, curiosity, and enthusiasm for learning and professional growth.

Colorado Statement

The projected base salary for this position is $22.00-$24.00 per hour. Hord Coplan Macht’s salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, as well as the individual’s education, experience, and skill sets. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of HCM’s total compensation package for employees.
