About the Role
RSP is looking for an innovative, thoughtful, and experienced Architectural Intern to join our Fort Worth team. Our ideal candidate is passionate about working in a team setting and craves collaboration. We are seeking an Architectural Intern interested in construction document production for structural steel framed, tilt-wall concrete, insulated metal panel and/or commercial masonry buildings. RSP proactively manages clients’ projects and excels at finding efficiencies in program process and construction

Responsibilities:
  • Involved with the production and coordination of projects with internal team and consultants
  • Interact and communicate effectively and professionally with other team members, clients and external vendors/consultants
  • Lead the preparation of plans, drawings, details and specifications in accordance with client standards and specifications
  • Provide project team coordination for the finished plans, specification required for construction
  • Code analysis and review for projects
  • Site observation visits and punch-list reports
  • QC review of construction documents
  • Coordinate with client vendors, consultants, permit expeditors, general contractors, jurisdictional authorities and inspectors throughout the CD and CA phases of a project

Skills and Experience Requirements:

  • Professional degree in architectural or related field
  • 2- 5 years of architectural experience
  • Working knowledge in Revit, AutoCad or Microstation a plus
  • Proficient knowledge and understanding of building codes
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
