You will join Wix's leading xEngineer Junior Program, KickstartX: a 7-month accelerated training experience designed for the next generation of AI-native engineers. As an xEngineer, you’ll  own features end-to-end, cross-stack, from design to production. You’ll spend the first 2 months in intensive training followed by 5 months of hands-on experience embedded in our engineering teams, using AI as a core teammate to design and build features that ship to over 299 million users.

• Master AI-augmented development tools and workflows to amplify your technical capabilities

• Build end-to-end products and features across the entire stack, including frontend and backend

• Take full ownership of complete systems from design and architecture to production

• Focus on high-level human judgment areas such as system design, architecture, security, and scalability

• Participate in intensive training and hands-on reviews with expert Wix instructors.

At Wix, we believe our best work happens together. Our work model is fully in person, with 5 days a week from our office. Flexibility remains a core value at Wix and special requests are handled thoughtfully at the team level.

• 0–3 years of development experience (professional experience at a tech company, or educational experience such as a degree or bootcamp)

• Strong proficiency in written and spoken English

• Demonstrated use of AI tools (such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot) within your development workflow

• Good understanding of at least one programming language (e.g., React, Node.js, Java) and web development concepts

• Critical thinking skills to validate, question, and improve AI-generated outputs rather than blindly accepting them

• High curiosity and a proactive mindset for learning in a fast-paced, AI-first environment

Our Engineering Guild is shifting toward the xEngineer archetype: an AI-native, design-first engineer who takes end-to-end responsibility for products. We value deep technical expertise in architecture and system design while leveraging AI to handle implementation details. You will join a community of high-potential peers and be mentored by top Wix engineers across multiple domains to help you grow into a full-fledged xEngineer.
