About the Role

Kodak is currently looking to fill multiple undergraduate intern positions in our Technology Solutions Group in Rochester, New York for the Summer 2026.

 

These positions include:

1. The development of structure/property relationships for new adhesive interlayers used in inkjet packaging applications. The work includes formulation, coating and physical characterization of materials and adhesive performance. Another aspect of one position includes supporting the current production of an optical film used in printing and characterizing the drying process for a new coating solvent.

2. The development of scalable coating processes for battery applications. Our materials science and coating technology provide the opportunity to work on complex, multidisciplinary problems. The work will involve lab/bench level testing and hands on coating processes.

3. Pharmaceutical product development of aqueous buffers. The project requires being hands-on in the setup of a pilot scale facility for Kodak Pharmaceuticals.

 


At our Rochester NY R&D labs, you will work collaboratively with other engineers and chemists. The projects are designed to provide you experience both in design and analysis methods as well as analytical and physical property testing methods.

 


Desired skills and experience:


· Current student majoring in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering and have completed at least 2 years of college education.
· Hands-on chemical lab experience.
· Strong record keeping skills (hardcopy and electronic filing).
· Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-functional team environment.
· Good communication skills, written and oral.
