  • Combine ingenuity, in-depth research, and a spirit of collaboration with design and engineering excellence

  • Advance in-vehicle infotainment, safety, efficiency, and enjoyment

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated final-year engineering student to join our Connectivity Hardware Development team and support the verification and validation of next‑generation automotive Telematics and connectivity systems in combination with latest Artificial Intelligence advancements in the sector.

In this role, you will work hands‑on in our hardware laboratory, assisting senior engineers with prototype bring-up, design verification, measurements, flashing, and technical documentation by combining traditional methods with AI driven solutions to make our day-to-day work more efficient. You will gain exposure to real automotive hardware development processes and technologies while contributing directly to the quality and performance of our products.

What You Will Do

  • Perform design verification and measurement tasks on analog and digital circuits using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power analyzers, logic analyzers, and other lab equipment.

  • Assist in prototype bring-up, including unit flashing, configuration, and running predefined test procedures developed with the assistance of AI.

  • Execute hardware reworks (basic soldering, component replacements, small modifications) with guidance from senior engineers.

  • Collect, document, and organize measurement results, ensuring that reports and technical documentation are clear and accurate.

  • Read and interpret schematics and PCB layouts to support debugging, test preparation, and measurement planning.

  • Support senior engineers in root-cause investigations by preparing setups, capturing signals, and documenting observations.

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Special interest in electronics and AI.

  • Final year student in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a closely related field.

  • Hands-on experience from school or personal projects involved:

    • Schematic design using tools such as KiCad, Eagle, or similar.

    • PCB layout implementation for simple or moderately complex boards.

    • Ordering, assembling, and testing PCBs (Printed Circuit Board), including component selection and BOM (Bill of Materials) preparation.

    • Familiarity with hardware bring-up and debugging, including basic measurement techniques for analog and digital circuits.

Ability to read and interpret schematics and PCB layouts and translate them into measurement or test plans.

  • Basic soldering and hardware rework abilities (SMD[Surface Mount Device] touch up, connector replacement, jumper wiring, etc.) are a plus.

  • Strong interest in hardware development and laboratory work.

  • Good spoken and written English communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams in a structured engineering environment.

Bonus Points if You Have

  • Signal & Power Integrity basics.

  • Understanding of commonly used interfaces such as UART, I2C, SPI, USB, Ethernet, etc.

  • Basic knowledge in command shell programming and shell debugging (Linux)

What Makes You Eligible
