Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Intern to join our team and support the project management of product transition planning. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on project management experience and deep insights into the supply chain management of product lifecycle transitions. The intern will work cross-functionally with various teams, including supply chain, operations, marketing, and product development, to ensure the seamless execution of product transitions.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination
Assist in planning and coordinating product transition projects, ensuring key milestones are met.
Support cross-functional teams to streamline communication and alignment on timelines, deliverables, and resources.
Track the progress of transition projects and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Data Analysis and Reporting
Analyze supply chain data to assess inventory levels, forecast demand, and mitigate risks associated with product transitions.
Generate reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product transition performance.
Risk Identification and Mitigation
Identify potential risks in the supply chain during product transitions and propose mitigation strategies.
Monitor product run-out plans and ensure no disruption in supply during the transition phase.
Process Improvement
Assist in documenting best practices and process improvements for effective product transitions.
Recommend methods to enhance supply chain workflows and efficiency during lifecycle changes.
Collaboration with Stakeholders
Support collaboration with procurement, logistics, and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth transitions.
Work closely with product development teams to integrate new products into the supply chain.
Partner with marketing and sales teams to align launch plans with operational objectives.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education:
Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
Skills and Experience:
Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar data tools.
Familiarity with supply chain processes, including inventory planning, product lifecycle management, and logistics.
Prior knowledge or coursework in project management is a plus (e.g., familiarity with Gantt charts, dashboards, or project management software like Asana or Trello).
Team-oriented with the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Compensation:
This position offers an hourly rate typically between $35.00 hourly- $37.00 hourly commensurate to the level of degree program in which an applicant is actively enrolled.
