Responsibilities

Working under general supervision of the Product Line Manager, selecting from a variety of established procedures to accomplish assigned duties and responsibilities, the Product Management Intern will assist in the areas of sales engagement, marketing, business development and data analysis within the Product Management team.

 

Job Duties: 

•Sales Engagement: assist Product Management (PM) with creation, execution and evaluation of sales campaigns to excite and motivate sellers; participate in activities (floor days, row meetings, focus days) to engage directly with our sales teams; support sales incentive programs to drive strategic initiatives; and coordinate demo hardware programs to get technology to our sellers and customers•Marketing: participate in marketing campaign process from concept to execution to reporting; create meaningful collateral used by our sellers; and collaborate with our in house marketing and creative teams•Business Development: support PM to identify new technology trends and how Connection could capitalize; participate in creation of campaigns to increase revenue; and assist with execution of plan to include engagement with sales and partner coverage teams•Data Analysis: Assist the PM in gathering data to create competitive market share analysis and review with the PM to understand the impact both internally and externally. Collect data to help the PM evaluate the effectiveness of our marketing campaign strategies. Collaborate with the PM to see the return on investment based on sales and marketing data sets. Opportunity to work with PM and reporting team to understand how data is collected and reviewed.

Qualifications

•Presently enrolled in a degree program at a college majoring in business, marketing, data analytics or related field.•Knowledge Microsoft Windows 7, Microsoft Office, and other related technology.•Excellent written, communicational, organizational and interpersonal skills with ability to thrive.in a fast-paced, interrupt-driven, team-oriented environment.•Problem solving with the ability to resolve issues quickly and to follow up appropriately.•Aptitude for process improvement.•Inquisitive with the ability to identify problems and errors.•A keen interest in process improvement and challenging the status quo with new ideas.•Receptive to training while working within a fast-paced work environment.
