The Oman Shell Summer Internship helps students learn, build confidence, and make meaningful progress toward their future goals.

The internship offers an immersive learning experience, giving participants the opportunity to engage in a dynamic work environment, observe team collaboration, and gain practical exposure.

At the conclusion of the program, interns will showcase their key learnings during a poster presentation session and will receive an official certificate of completion.

About Oman Shell Summer Internship

This summer internship is designed to give students a first realistic look into professional life at Oman Shell:

  • Duration: 8 weeks (2 months)
  • Timing: Summer Period (July & August)
  • Location: Shell Development Oman, Salam Square Office
  • Type: Paid Summer Internship
  • Applications period: 26th March to 4th April
  • Business areas covered: Wells, HEES, Commercial

Is This Internship Right for You?

To be eligible for Oman Shell Summer Internship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Omani national
  • An undergraduate student in their third or final year of a bachelor’s degree
  • Studying a major relevant to the internship opportunity
  • Be available to complete the full two months program on-site
  • Successfully pass the interview
  • Priority is given to students who have a mandatory university/college training requirement
  • Applicants must be studying the following majors: Petroleum Engineering, Engineering Sub-majors, Geoscience/Geology, Supply Chain and Logistics, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Law, Business Analytics
