Your Role

Ready to shape the future? As an intern for our Healthcare Digital Data & IT R&D you will support to design efficient, scalable AWS architectures for R&D. Based on the communication with the R&D business, you will help to translate complex requirements to technical concepts. You will gain hands-on project experience, ideally with continuous deployments concepts, across the Pharmaceutical R&D value chain.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing & implementing scalable, high-performance cloud solutions.
• Collaborating with global stakeholders including data engineers, business analysts, IT specialists and domain users to understand functional needs and ensure proper solution delivery.
• Design & manage Healthcare R&D system landscape according to the company standards and capability maps.
• Create technology blueprints, standards and best practices.
• Troubleshooting & third-level support for Healthcare R&D systems.
• Providing guidance & mentoring for team members and promoting knowledge sharing.

Who you are:

• BSc or above in a relevant IT subject.
• Knowledge or experience with Cloud Engineering.
• Experience working with Cloud platforms.
• Business English or above.

Desirable:

• Cloud architecture experience.
• Experience with container architectures, Kubernetes (esp. EKS) and Docker.
• Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) experience based on Azure DevOps and GIT.
• Infrastructure-as-Code experience utilizing CloudFormation and Terraform.
• SQL skills.
