As our industry continues to evolve, and we serve more customers around the world, it’s our people who drive our success as a leading global dairy processor. The Intern,  Maintenance Systems will learn about maintenance operations in the food industry and work with the Maintenance coordinator and maintenance supervisor to ensure that all preventive maintenance programs are executed and documented. Functions will include supporting transition of preventive maintenance data and data entry to expedite transition.. 

 

The Internship will begin on May 11th and end August 14th, 2026.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT MATTER...  

 

  • Assist in updating our Maintenance CMMS (FIXX) and contribute to the preparation for a change to SAP PM in the future.  

  • Update CMMS (FIXX) to reflect our current PM and Maintenance program 

  • Organize, label and set up our parts inventory to reflect system needed to transfer the SAP PM in the future. 

  • Ad-hoc requests and Special Projects. 

 

YOU ARE BEST SUITED FOR THE ROLE IF YOU... 

 

  • Are currently pursuing a Millwright apprenticeship or Maintenance Management program; 

  • Are active in extracurricular activities on campus or in the community; 

  • Have previous related internship experience (an asset); 

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, food or dairy industry (an asset) 

  • Proficient with Office suite programs and applications; 

  • Familiar with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System); 

  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and autonomy; 

  • Have strong time management skills: you will manage priorities and multiple projects at a time all while ensuring to meet deadlines.
