Disney Experiences brings the magic of Disney stories and franchises to life through theme parks, resorts, cruise ships, unique vacation experiences, consumer products, and more around the world. Our talented team of Cast Members, Crew Members, Imagineers, and employees delivers unparalleled levels of service, entertainment, and imagination, bringing a range of authentic and immersive stories to life across the globe. You would have the opportunity to be a part of this amazing team!

This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in Orlando, Florida, from June 2026 to January 2027, reporting to the Senior Manager, Communications.

What You Will Do

As a Communications Intern on the Global Employee and Line of Business Communications Team, you’ll get a chance to turn your classroom skills into real-world experience in a fun and fast-paced environment. This is an opportunity to develop your communications and strategic skills with an innovative team that showcases stories from around the world.

  • Help amplify communications from partners to Disney Experiences Cast using employee-facing digital channels
  • Write and create employee communication, including messages, employee-focused stories, digital graphics & collateral, and short-form video & social content
  • Support global email distributions, including a global employee intranet portal & mobile application, global email distribution, editorial calendar & content scheduling/management system
  • Help design collateral material (i.e., digital slides, presentation, header images, etc.)
  • Support the Technology, Finance, and HR lines of businesses
  • Assist with the creation and distribution of newsletters and other communication vehicles
  • Help with global campaigns such as Global Recognition Week, Administrative Professional Week, and many more

  • Previous communications experience

It Would Also Be Great If You Have

  • Knowledge of Keynote, WordPress, macOS operating system, Smartsheet, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • An ability to write for various platforms and a love of storytelling is ideal
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop) and/or Canva
  • Skill with social media tracking and metrics sites such as Sprinklr and Adobe Analytics
  • Previous experience working on social media in an academic or professional setting; posting and writing in the voice/tone of an organization
  • Previous Disney experience with knowledge of Disney Experiences products and offerings

Education

  • Junior or Senior year preferred
  • Pursuing a degree in Public Relations, Public Affairs, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, Customer Engagement, Marketing, or other relevant fields

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all the requirements below

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university, pursuing a degree, taking at least one class at the time of application, OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney Internship or Disney College Program
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization

Additional Information

  • The approximate dates of this internship are June 2026 through January 2027
  • Fully available from Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Eastern Time Zone, with possible weekends or shifts that are outside of these hours for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week 
  • Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Orlando, Florida area
  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
  • Be aligned with The Disney Look appearance guidelines
