Your mission

Do you want to gain first-hand insights into the European AI governance landscape and support companies to adopt AI responsibly and navigate compliance with confidence? Join our team to support projects at the intersection of AI regulation, enterprise AI adoption, and AI education. As a Working Student (m/f/x), you will assist with a diverse range of projects, including our training programs and event series on trustworthy AI. You will also provide valuable support to the Bavarian AI Act Accelerator, helping us bridge the gap between complex AI regulation and practical innovation for companies (primary target groups: SMEs, startups and public sector).

Your tasks will include:

  • Event concept & program support: Help us organize and execute various formats: from expert panels on to workshops on topics like responsible AI Governance. You’ll assist with all steps, from initial drafts and session structures to post-event follow-ups
  • Assist with content & design: Support our team in drafting and proofreading engaging content for newsletters, LinkedIn, event descriptions, and training. You’ll help translate AI regulation and policy developments into accessible (sometimes interactive) formats using tools like Miro or Mentimeter
  • Coordinate impactful educational offerings and AI projects: Provide hands-on support for the Bavarian AI Act Accelerator. This includes assisting with training logistics, engaging with participants and trainers during live sessions, and helping with post-processing data for the project documentation
  • Research & updates on European AI regulation: Help us keep our educational materials and slide decks up to date. This is a great opportunity to learn what is going on in the AI regulation sphere while ensuring our content remains current

Your profile

  • Currently enrolled in a Master's program, ideally in Law, Political Science, Business Administration, Communication, or a related field
  • Genuine interest in AI, AI governance, and the EU AI Act. Prior exposure to topics such as risk classification, transparency obligations, or AI compliance is a strong plus
  • Strong writing skills and a good feel for tone; being able to adapt between formal policy language, professional event copy, and engaging LinkedIn posts
  • Structured, reliable, and able to work independently across multiple projects simultaneously
  • Comfortable working with tools like Miro, Notion, Eventbrite, and PowerPoint/Google Slides
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken). German is essential, as a significant part of our work and communications is in German
  • Please note: This is a temporary contract with duration of 1 year, with the possibility of extension
