Overview

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Software Developer Intern – Summer 2026 to join our Denver, CO office.

Your role

• Work directly with project team and client staff to identify and develop web-based products that meet specific requirements
• Support efforts at all stages of the software development lifecycle
• Compile data and reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Assist in requirement refinement and product planning
• Monitor software’s performance, providing support and addressing any operational issues
• Create and maintain product documentation for both technical and non-technical staff

About you

• EDUCATION:  Must have completed 60 hours towards a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or be enrolled in a Master’s program in Information Systems from an accredited college/university by the start of the internship (Summer 2026).
• EXPERIENCE: No experience is generally required if accepted into a Bachelor's or Master’s degree program in a related technical field.
• SPECIAL SKILLS:
  • Experience with C#, .NET platform, JavaScript, Typescript, SQL server database, and HTML
  • Web application development experience in .NET using ASP.Razor (highly preferred)
  • Ability to use API-based integration with LLMs
  • Ability and willingness to learn other skills not exposed to as yet
  • Should have good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment

Additional information

Expected compensation range is between $23 - $29 hourly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
