About the Role

Student Volunteer - Clinical with Dr. Arun Kaithi

 

Essential Functions of the Intern: The intern will shadow Dr. Arun Kaithi; The intern will assist and participate in the following:

  • Observe patients during therapy sessions.
  • Learn about patient protocol, history and assessment.
  • Participate in assigned meetings.
  • Shadow Physician during clinical rotation.
  • Observe/learn about IDD psychiatric diagnosis and psychiatric medications. 
  • Other duties as assigned by Physician.
  • Comply with all state Psychiatric licensing requirements and regulations.
  • Shall provide services to meet the treatment needs of the specialty intermediate care (IC) clinic patients for services in the field of care. 

Qualifications:   Must be currently attending an accredited school, working towards a degree in Psychiatry or related field.
