About the Role

JOB OVERVIEW:

The Human Resources Intern will assist with administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s human resources department with more focus on recruitment.

In this role, you will gain hands on experience in diverse HR specialties. This internship is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in building a career in human resources, talent acquisition, benefits, onboarding, leaves, etc.


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Enrolled in a university or college program at junior or senior level, preferred course of study to include Human Resources, Communications, or related
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 Preferred
  • Prior internship or relevant work experience is a plus

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and an eagerness to learn HR systems


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist Talent Acquisition with developing, updating and electronically filling job descriptions
  • Collaborate with department and plant managers to review and update job descriptions
  • Run reports and auditing job titles in ADP
  • Assist with Open Enrollment benefit reporting and audits
  • Support other specialties as needed (Leaves, Onboarding, Pre-employment, etc.)
  • Potential local day trips to some of our production sites for benefits open enrollment meetings
