Job Description

**Responsibilities:**

  • Work closely with assigned mentor on test algorithm validations, scripting, test plan execution, and data analysis
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate hard disk drive functionality and performance
  • Write and debug test scripts using industry-standard programming languages and testing frameworks
  • Analyze test results and generate detailed reports documenting findings, anomalies, and recommendations
  • Gain foundational knowledge of hard disk drive architecture, operation, and design principles
  • Learn and apply cutting-edge data storage technology concepts and methodologies

This internship provides an excellent foundation for launching a career as a test development engineer in the data storage industry.

Qualifications

**Required Qualifications:**

The successful candidate must demonstrate:

  • Comprehensive understanding of electronics and electronic signal measurements
  • Proficient coding capability in C, C++, and Python
  • Demonstrated experience with data analysis tools (JMP and equivalent platforms)
  • Solid knowledge of statistical principles and methodologies
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven commitment and professional motivation to excel in a technical engineering environment
