About the Role

We currently have an opportunity for a 2026 Summer Intern at OSG in our Carol Stream, IL facility. This is a compensated internship with no health benefits or paid holidays/ vacation time and will run through the summer months of May – August.

Job Title: IT Infrastructure Intern

Position: Temp, 20 hours

Work Location: Carol Stream, IL 

Onsite: 4 days a week


Responsibilities

  • Help diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity problems.
  • Assist security team by supporting compliance, patch management, and conduct checks.
  • Document processes, maintain infrastructure documentation and update knowledge bases.
  • Work with IT and DevOps teams on projects and upgrades.


Position Qualifications

We are looking for a highly resourceful and analytical college junior or senior student with the following attributes:

 • GPA requirement: 3.0 GPA or higher

  • Working towards Bachelor’s/Master’s degree program in Engineering/Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and strong Excel skills preferred.
  • Critical thinking/problem solving coupled with assertiveness to pursue necessary information to resolve issues.
  • Intellectually curious with a passion for learning.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; attention to detail.
  • Ambitious and capable of working independently; proactive attitude towards professional development.
