About the Role

We currently have an opportunity for a 2026 Summer Intern at OSG in our Carol Stream, IL facility. This is a compensated internship with no health benefits or paid holidays/ vacation time and will run through the summer months of May – August.

Job Title: Internal Audit Intern

Position: Temporary, 30 - 40 hours/weeks

Work Location: Carol Stream, IL - In person

Onsite: 4 days a week


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute audit plans for data analytics, serving specific financial processes.
  • Conduct audit field work and audit work preparation, with completeness and accuracy.
  • Assist with audit design and documentation, including testing strategies to assess specific financial process controls.
  • Review client invoices for accuracy, validate information and conduct postage accuracy audits.
  • Sample test to support planned audits. Oversee contract repository maintenance.


Position Qualifications

We are looking for a highly resourceful and analytical college junior or senior student with the following attributes:

 • GPA requirement: 3.0 GPA or higher

  • Working towards Bachelor’s/Master’s degree program in Business, Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, working with large data sets, and graphing. 
  • Critical thinking/problem solving coupled with assertiveness to pursue necessary information to resolve issues.
  • Intellectually curious with a passion for learning.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; attention to detail.
  • Ambitious and capable of working independently; proactive attitude towards professional development.
