About the Role

We currently have an opportunity for a 2026 Summer Intern at OSG in our Carol Stream, IL facility. This is a compensated internship with no health benefits or paid holidays/ vacation time and will run through the summer months of May – August.

Job Title: Human Resource Intern

Position: Temporary, 30 hours/week

Work Location: Carol Stream, IL - In Person

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in updating and maintaining HR documents, policies, and employee records. 
  • Develop onboarding program for new hires 
  • Maintain a well-organized and efficient central storage system for employee files
  • Support with new HRIS system rollout
  • Assist with performance management data collection and data input
  • Work with OSG’s Employee Engagement team with summer event planning 

 

Position Qualifications:

We are looking for a highly resourceful and analytical college junior or senior student with the following attributes:

 • GPA requirement: 3.0 GPA or higher

  • Working towards Bachelor’s/Master’s degree program in Human Resources.
  • Intellectually curious with a passion for learning.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; attention to detail.
  • Ambitious and capable of working independently
  • Proactive attitude towards professional development.
