About the Role

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Responsible for working closely with specific department heads throughout that bank to gain hands-on departmental experience.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, TRAINING, ETC.

Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, AI, Fraud, or other bank-related field of interest; proficient in Microsoft Office, good interpersonal skills, strong communication skills, ability to meet deadlines, and work a flexible schedule. 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

In addition to conducting business in an office environment, the Intern must be able to reach, bend, pull, lift, operate a vehicle, and carry up to 25 pounds.  

 

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develop banking knowledge by learning the responsibilities of multiple positions within various departments throughout the company or by learning various tasks conducted within a specific area or department:
  • Work closely with department heads to gain departmental knowledge;
  • Gain a solid understanding of functions performed in various departments;
  • Prepare reports and/or presentations as directed;
  • Work on special projects as directed; 
  • Participate in community affairs to increase the Bank's visibility and enhance new business;
  • Assume additional responsibilities as directed.
