About the Role

We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern for our Waterbury, CT manufacturing facility. This role will work within the Manufacturing Engineering department alongside experienced engineers and mentors, contributing to real-world projects that support our operations and product development. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain practical engineering experience while making meaningful contributions to the business.

What You Will Do:

  • Work directly with Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor to design, document, and validate new components and products
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret manufacturing and test data
  • Build, document, and validate electro-mechanical test stations as needed
  • Conduct testing, analyze results, and prepare formal reports outlining findings and recommendations
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing operations

What We Are Looking For:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering (4-year degree program)
  • Strong mathematical skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email for effective communication and documentation
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods (up to 8 hours per day) as required

Additional Characteristics:   

  • Moderate noise level in the manufacturing environment
  • May be exposed to industrial cleaning chemicals and oils
