Group Finance Department

M&A internship (M/F)

As part of its strong development, Edenred's Group Finance Department is looking for an M&A intern for 6 months.

Under the responsibility of the M&A Project Leaders, you will assist the M&A team through the following missions:

  • Preparation of investment materials together with the M&A stakeholders, strategy and development department and business units
  • Review and modeling of business plans, valuation, and financial analysis of potential targets
  • Participation into acquisition due diligence, drafting of offers, monitoring of negotiations
  • Help to gather and analyze market benchmarks, perform brokers notes synthesis and build related materials
  • Assist the team in the development of M&A tools and ad-hoc missions: internal valuation databases, market benchmarks, procedure templates

IDEAL candidate PROFILE

  • Student in the final year (or second part of a gap year) of a top business or engineering school, a specialized master's degree or a university master's degree
  • Advanced mastery of basic financial techniques (financial analysis, valuation methods) and of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Proven interest in finance and M&A in particular
  • Fluent English
  • Prior internship experience in corporate finance (M&A, Transaction Services, Private Equity)

CONDITIONS

  • Approved by an internship contract (convention de stage)
  • Full-time – 6 months
