Purpose:
Worley’s Canada West Engineering Team is seeking a select group of high-potential Summer Student Engineering Interns to join our team in our Calgary & Edmonton offices.
As part of the Worley Early Careers Community, a Summer Student Engineering Intern will work under the guidance of experienced professionals to support the delivery of engineering services to our clients. These internships offer hands-on experience and exposure to real-world projects with global impact. You’ll collaborate across disciplines in a supportive team environment, gain insight into industry-leading practices and technologies, and grow your career through continuous learning and development.
This is a fixed term opportunity from May to August 2026. We are accepting applications from 3rd or 4th year Engineering / Design students.
Summer Student Engineering Internship opportunities within the following Departments:
Mechanical Engineering.
Process Engineering.
Civil/Structural Engineering.
Electrical Engineering.
Engineering Data Systems.
Piping Design.
Requirements / Responsibilities
Requirements:
The primary role of a Summer Student Engineering Intern is to gain work experience within one of our Engineering or Design departments.
In this position, it is expected that the student will conform to the established Worley business practices and methods provided by their Line Manager and Project Lead.
Special emphasis on self-check of prepared deliverables, development of interpersonal skills, and learning.
Under the guidance of the Department Manager, you will perform tasks that support the day-to-day work of the department.
Motivated and coachable students who can work well in both team-based and individual capacities.
Participate in & follow Worley organizational safety standards & regulations.
- Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada.
- Candidate must be currently enrolled in an accredited University Engineering Degree or Technical Design/Technology Institute.
