About the Role

About the Role:

You will support the Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance (iARC) function. During the 10 week internship, from early June to mid August 2026, you will spend approximately half your time with the Internal Audit team and half with the Security & Privacy team. Both teams operate within iARC. You will get hands-on exposure to internal audit, risk management, and security and privacy activities, while developing analytical and workplace skills in a collaborative environment. You will report to the Senior Internal Auditor and use a hybrid work schedule, with 2 days per week remote and one day per week onsite in the Durham office.

 

You Will:

  • Help with audit and risk engagements, including planning support, walkthroughs, testing, documentation, and evidence gathering.
  • Help prepare documentation and workpapers observing iARC standards and professional guidelines.
  • Support data analysis, identification of trends, and summarization of observations to inform conclusions and recommendations.
  • Help with documentation, tracking, and coordination related to compliance controls or programs.
  • Participate in team meetings, status discussions, and collaborative working sessions across iARC.
