Happy Returns is seeking a strategic, data-driven MBA Summer Intern to join our Operations team. This remote role offers the opportunity to help shape the go-to-market strategy for our fraud prevention solutions, combining market research, cross-functional collaboration, and data analysis to drive real impact. The position may involve occasional travel for team meetings.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Market Research: Conduct in-depth analysis of the competitive landscape for fraud prevention in e-commerce and logistics
  • Content Development: Collaborate with the Fraud and Marketing teams to create compelling external content, including case studies, blog posts, and thought leadership materials
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Assist in defining messaging and positioning for Happy Returns’ fraud solutions
  • Third-Party Collaboration: Collaborate with a third-party analytics partner (pending timelines) to assess fraud detection effectiveness using internal data
  • Data Analysis: Analyze internal and third-party data to assess solution effectiveness and provide recommendations to enhance fraud detection and prevention

 

Who You Are:

  • Education: Currently enrolled in a full-time MBA program, with an expected graduation date in 2026
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and strategic thinker with the ability to turn insights into effectively-communicated recommendations
  • Communication: Skilled communicator, both written and verbal, adept at creating clear and persuasive content for diverse audiences
  • Collaboration: Proactive and comfortable working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, remote environment
  • Interest: Interested in fraud prevention, data analytics, and go-to-market strategy

 

 

Requirements

  • Experience: Background in consulting, product marketing, or roles with strong analytical experience
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with e-commerce, SaaS, or logistics sectors
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, SQL, or business intelligence platform
