About the Role

Description

The Human Resources (HR) Intern provides administrative and project based support to the HR department. This role assists with routine HR functions including recruitment coordination, employee record maintenance, onboarding activities, and general departmental operations. The position is designed to offer exposure to core HR processes while supporting the department’s daily workflow. Performs administrative services and project support. 

Requirements

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND/OR ABILITIES

  • Basic understanding of HR principles and interest in pursuing a career in human resources
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities
  • Analyzes data and evaluates situations effectively
  • Presents oneself in a professional and polished manner
  • Ensures data privacy and confidentiality in all tasks
  • Prioritizes tasks effectively and adapts to changing needs
  • Leads and motivates others toward shared goals
  • Excellent keyboarding skills
  • Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word and Excel.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required. 
  • Must be currently enrolled in a accredited degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field.
