Summary: 

This position will assist the EHS department with safety data analysis, reporting, and regulatory compliance activities. This internship provides hands on experience to gain valuable knowledge in all aspects of Environmental Health and Safety management within a manufacturing setting. 


Essential Functions:

  • Support the Safety team with basic data collection, organization, and review of safety incidents and observations
  • Assist in preparing simple reports and presentations related to safety performance and trends
  • Help maintain safety records and documentation in support of OSHA compliance and internal requirements
  • Provide administrative and coordinated support for incident investigations and workers compensation documentation
  • Perform other related duties or responsibilities as requested or required.


Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Must be a “U.S. Person” as defined by the U.S. Government and able to work without restrictions with ITAR related data
  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Policy/Law/Management or related field
  • Current GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred


Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization. 
  • Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and standard business practices. 
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English at a functional level.
  • Basic familiarity with (or strong interest in learning) OSHA and workplace safety regulations
  • Ability to travel 5-10% when required.
